P3D Slowing Down

Recommended Posts

I am currently running PDv5 HF2. When exiting anything in the menu bar, the sim slows to between .6 and 2.0 fps. It has to be restarted to get fps back.

I have reinstalled the sim and it has made no difference. I don't remember this behavior in previous versions.

I have asked about this over at the P3D forums, but have received no reply.

Has anyone else experienced this?

OK. My typo. I installed the latest video driver, cleared shaders, and the problem persists. I have not been able to find anything on this with a Google search.

Idk, cosmic rays?

Sorry, but I have no idea what this means.

The menu bar?, settings bar? that appears at the top of the screen when you hold down the alt key. Exiting back into the sim after changing any setting and fps grinds down to single digits.

Resetting the scenario doesn't fix it, only a restart of the sim.

Hi

Could you detail what hardware you have as well as if you are running any legacy (Non-P3Dv5) software?

Does it happen with a specific addon or all the time?

Kind regards
