Working Title CJ4 Showing Off Navigraph MFD Charts!

Featured Replies

I use an iPad for nav charts, but I think this is a wonder integration and I will use it along with my iPad I can have diffrent charts open at the same time.

Does not matter in these forums how good something is even when free someone has to put a negative slant on it.........

Not my video but from their discord channel it looks amazing! Can't believe this is freeware 😄

Any news when we can get this version?

Can't see any negative slant here. I just said its too fiddly for me to use it. Don't know how someone might feel offended by that.

It might be a wonderful integration but i don't see a real use of it in MSFS except for people using VR.

If youre not allowed to post your opinion what is a forum for?

You seem to mist out your "instead of fiddling around with the twitchy mouse, panning and zooming until you can finally read anything on the map" ofc nothing negivtive there.

Sometimes it best to use an old saying if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing. These guys do all this work for nothing.

your edit"It might be a wonderful integration but i don't see a real use of it in MSFS except for people using VR."

I do and I use an iPad, I can now have two charts that I want open at the same time.

I know and i really enjoy their G1000/G3000 mods.

There is nothing negative about their work. The mouse operation and the way you control the camera is made by Asobo not WT. I don't think they will feel offended by my post as it is just my own opinion. And i didn't even say anything against their work. Just said it's not my piece of cake.

But it looks like there are quite a lot of faint hearted people here who only want to read positive things and can't tolerate a "negative" opinion.

I love to have charts on mfd. it’s better than on iPad IRL by the way. Seen it, done it 🙂

"arrogrant" comes to mind.

I am living in a country where people are encouraged to speak freely and tell their opinion. Whats the problem with that?

But anyway if you think of me as an arrogant person i think i can live with that.

2388 x 1668 pixels on iPad pro (11 inch) vs typical avionics display 1280 x 800. (12 inch?). Allright buddy 😏

No matter how you feel about using the technology nobody can argue against that this is an advanced feature that isnt matcehed by any payware airplane available at the moment. I dont know how the chart thing will work if you have to scroll through a bunch of charts, or if it will automatically pick the right charts for you based on what departure and arrival you programmed into the fmc. If it's the latter that would be super helpful and I would probably use it to look things up quick and easy.

Would be careful calling anything 'better' or worse: having had an entire panel flash and then go dark, literally seconds before descending into a cloud deck, on an APPR at night. SOP has always been to keep ipad up split screened with AHARS Synvis and chart. Basically replicating the panel to the degree possible.

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Looking forward to charts on the MFD.  😊

He just wants everyone to know he's a pilot IRL.

From the video it will pick out the charts from your flight plan and you can click one of the buttons to toggle through taxi/arrival/departure quickly.

Oh and it even shows your planes location with a pink airplane icon much like the tablet experience from Navigraph which is pretty cool!
