Spikes, mountains and holes again?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Since the last update I have been quite happy. Among other things, I thought that the spikes, pyramids and hills had disappeared.

But, oh surprise! Yesterday I made the EGET Tingwall flight to Out Skerries in Scotland and what was there? Holes, spikes and pyramids everywhere! And today, on the flight from EGLD Denham to EGKK Gatwick the same thing again: pyramids, and plateaus appearing and disappearing like mushrooms all around.

Please tell me that this is only happening to me or if the word not allowed peaks and mountains are back for everyone!

I noticed this about an hour ago too, it was stuttering too...

Well, at the moment only another person has noticed these "new" holes, peaks and plateaus.

I didn't see them since last update. I thought they were gone!

Is it a general issue? It only happens to very few people or in certain areas? I mean, perhaps it has caused by some mod I have installed.

Or maybe we have already gotten used to them?

If the same areas looked okay yesterday, it might be a data streaming or cache issue. Try clearing caches then taking the same flight again.

Thank you. I'll try to do the same flights this afternoon and see what happens.

Hi,

Unfortunately the problem persists. But it is not in my case only. It seems to be quite widespread. Although many peaks have been reduced with the last update there are certain areas where they are still noticeable.

Maybe those new pyramides, spikes and holes are there in real life ("We are not alone and the world continously changes" 😛 )

Hi,

Do you know what?

The spikes, holes and similar are all gone!

Just after the update (1.13.17.0) I went to Tingwall and all the issues have disapeared!

😀
