I don't know, but can I politely ask why it matters? Is that wrong or something? I mean I'm sure Rod Machado was generously compensated when he made tutorials for FS 2002, 2004 and FSX 😄

Edit: Someone beat me to the answer...

The amount of reaching, moving goal posts and grasping for straws in this thread is hilarious.

Some are just hellbent on not liking Aerosoft anymore🤣

We get it....😒

But if a promoter doesn't mention that it took 15 CTD's to make it

Ah. So you are a close friend of his and helped him make the videos? Or how can you back those claims? But I think, I get the point. Every Aerosoft product must be full of flaws and will cause a ton of CTDs. Anyways, let's just move on.

He is indeed a real CRJ pilot and he's video was excellent. But if a promoter doesn't mention that it took 15 CTD's to make it and never mentions what is broken and inop in the product, then it's an issue that only "real world" reviews will take up. That YT promoter will have lost all integrity and respect no matter who they are.

Could you please tell me how this applies to me?

Pessimism. 😄

I just want the flight model to be good. Other than that, I am very greatful for the work Aerosoft has done. Including you. Judging by your videos, you are from germany, right? 🙂

Happy with MSFS 🙂

I‘d rather first hear from FPStewy.

@The Dude I love your videos. Wonderful insight.

You point out the couple things not working yet and some tweaks that are needed.

Please keep these coming. Don't pay attention to people who don't have anything better to do than criticize what they really know nothing about. The CRJ is still in BETA. And it was never sold as a "study level" plane whatever that really means.

I think the buying CRJ will be one of the first things I do on the 16th.

FS2020 is a huge step forward and it is great to see serious development for it.

I have often been criticized on this board and others for supporting developers, these boards can be very cruel and stupid. Just like the real world I guess.

Anyway, I want to thank you and I am looking forward to more of your vids...

The videos are very, very good. Please, try to ignore people making strange claims.

It might have just been a general comment, maybe not. In any case, I wouldn't take it to heart; one thing you learn pretty quick when you make youtube videos, is that you can't please everyone and so it'd be foolish to even try. Just keep on doing what you do and those who appreciate your efforts will be enough reward for that effort along with the enjoyment you gain from simply making the things.

You inevitably stick your head above the parapet when you make youtube videos and such, and when you do that, you can expect some people to take a shot at you for no other reason than just because they can. It goes with the territory.

If I let people who make unwanted comments on my videos put me off, I'd never make another video again. I even had someone downvote one of my videos the other week which hadn't even finished processing, so couldn't actually be viewed at the time that person downvoted it. This tells you all you need to know about the mindset of some keyboard warriors out there on the internet, so don't let it get you down.

I'm not saying that it applies to you but it's in general, the history of MSFS YT promoters have preferred clicks over integrity and honesty and have now created a sphere of skepticism for everyone else when it comes to em... promoting flight sim pre-release products.

Did not see any CTDs in the video!  Got proof of your statement??  If not, you may want to apologize to the video maker!  OK, I see you made a statement!  Please try to not make statements that you don't back up with evidence.

I don't get it with some of you people! the plane is'nt even out yet and your whinning like a bunch of children. Aerosoft are leading the way in this new sim, yet all you can do is critcise at every turn.... Quite simply if you don't like it, go fly your " Study level" stuff in your 10 yr old sims... And i for one fully appreciate the tutorials Aerosoft, and The Dude have supplied for our learning..

I get my comment could come off as "whining," i wasn't. I will be purchasing and excited for it. I also appreciate the tutorials as they will be helpful when i'm actually flying it, being i've never owned a CRJ.  The comment I made wasn't criticizing, just an observation made by me and other posters.  Definitely not a deal breaking. I get the tension with the topic and anything even hinting at being negative lol I wasn't. Good day 🙂

That sounds like a fallacy of hasty generalization
