Well its not my video "the creator" someone simply ask for an update and I found this video on youtube and posted it. But just shoot the messenger as usual on avsim giving folks on the forum of the latest news. Just take the video as you see fit, I really don't care.

Goodness, you need to relax a bit. Take a pill or something.

Where did I say that I thought you were the creator of the YT  and where did I shot you ? All my remarks were  directed to the reviewer who clearly is not you

Thank you, great video.

I found it very informed and at least for me, very informative, specifically "it will be released next Thursday. Since the video was released on last Thursday, that means it will go on sale on April 1.

First day buy for me. I make no bones about wanting WWII warbirds, and this is one of the icons. How could I not?

I'm curious, why wasn't the Corsair used in the European or North African theaters? Or was it, and nobody talked about it.

21 liveries? That has to be a record...

Is or will this be able to do carrier ops? don't see any hardware or arresting hook?

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

From the manual:

ARRESTER HOOK CONTROL.
Three settings for the arresting hook control, located on the right-hand panel, are provided; “UP”, “DOWN”, and “PARKING“. To lower the hook (tail wheel extended) move the handle to “DOWN”, and vice versa. At all times except on arrested landings and when the airplane is on the ground, the hook control should be at “UP”.
The tail hook will not extend unless the tail wheel has been lowered first.
To extend and retract tail hook, the lever must not be in park position.

Beautiful Manual online here:

It was an US Navy aircraft. The USN was not heavily involved in  combat in Europe and North Africa. The Allied Supreme Naval commander in the ETO was British for instance, under Eisenhower

The British Fleet Air Arm (FAA) which is part of the Royal Navy used them a bit in Europe for Scandinavian operations but most of them were used in the Pacific with the British Pacific Fleet. They were designed as carrier planes so mostly went where the carriers were. The USMC used them from land bases after the US Navy rejected them for a while due to some dangerous landing characteristics. The British worked out a method to get them in more safely using a curved approach and made some design modifications to further assist which the US Navy then adopted too.

The RNZAF used them from land bases the Pacific as well.

From the cockpit photos and YouTube videos so far, the Milviz Corsair is equipped with an Arresting Nook. Small error there on the VC textures. 😀 I am concerned that the oxygen mask is still stuck on the pilot's face in every photo and video. I looked through the manual, and removal isn't an option. I don't really care that the oxygen system isn't modeled since I fly under 10,000 feet, but that mask looks silly on the ground. It wasn't on the P3D version. Mirrors do offer a bit of reflection, so that's a plus. The 2800 in the videos doesn't sound the same as P3D either, but that could be an issue with the video uploaders' systems.

Oh those "very soons"! Are we talking weeks of months? 🙂

It's Milviz. Could be years......

ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

Came across this one today as well, based on both this video and the one posted earlier I'd say this is a day one purchase for me, I absolutely love the spitfire and I think I will enjoy this one just as much.    Most definitely need both, probably even the spitfire on the horizon from Aeroplane heaven as well.

The only problem I have with all those military airplane is that you can’t shot at anything! We need Microsoft Combat Simulator 2021!

Given the visuals that would be nice indeed, even if you can't get exact bing data there is enough data available to put the current tech to good use.

Can't see it happen anytime soon unfortunately.  I considered trying DCS which does seem to feature some older planes but that seems like quite an investment in its own right and I'm not into the combat jets, they look impressive but I don't tend to enjoy flying them as much, I did enjoy f18 interceptor on the Amiga but I guess that's not really something to go by lol. WW2 or hell even WW1 planes would be cool, I remember playing Red Baron on my 286, just looked up when that was and word not allowed that was 31 years ago!

You can always shoot yourself in the foot as they are generally less forgiving than a GA aircraft in my experience.
