The French Alps - France-Italy

The French Alps are the portions of the Alps mountain range that stand within France, located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions. While some of the ranges of the French Alps are entirely in France, others, such as the Mont Blanc massif, are shared with Switzerland and Italy.

So this is a VFR French Alps exploration excursion.  I have never been here, not even in the sim but looks like a interesting trip. We'll travel through some of the mountains, then low and slow in valleys, along rivers, marking natural as well as man-made landmarks.

We depart from LFLS Alpes-Isère Airport Grenoble, Rhône-Alpes in Southwestern France and heading eastward weaving through the French Alps making all regular stops in France on the route to Italy. Once in Italy will stop at a few airports to view some of the sights then make our way to our Italian destination: LIVA Campo Volo Angela e Sara Airport, in Verrua Savoia TO Italy in the Italian Province of Metropolitan City of Turin.

Here is the "Stop-over" List:

France: (5 stops) - En route stop-overs at:
LFLG Le Versoud Airport, Grenoble, Rhône-Alpes, France
LF54 Le Gua Airport, Charente-Maritime France
LFPS Notre Dame De La Salette, La Salette-Fallavaux, France
LFNA Tallard, Gap, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur France
LFNC Saint Crepin, Mont Dauphin - St-Crepin, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France

We cross the border from France following the SS24 Hwy into Italy at Claviere, Turin, and will basically follow the SS24 Hwy northeast landing at the following airports located in Italy:  (3 stop-overs):

LIVE Campo Di Volo Valsusa, Vaie , Metropolitan City of Turin, Italy
LIMA Aeritalia Turin, Piedmont, Italy *  (*But we might want to take a "buzz" around the city of Turin to see some landmarks before heading on to the next airport: LIBS.)

LIBS Aviosuperficie Pegasus 2000, Campobasso, Molise, Italy.

After leaving LIBS, we'll head southeast down the Orco River to the Po River and follow it due eastward to reach our final stop at:

LIVA Campo Volo Angela E Sara Airport in Verrua Savoia, Italy.

FSX-P3D. Not sure of any add-on scenery for FSX-P3D but I'm sure it will work out none the less as there are many default airports along the way.

Aircraft:
Any GA aircraft will work for this trip: IE: Xcub, Robin, C172, C182, Savage-Carbon or Grravel, DA40, DA62, even the P149 will do IF you keep a leash on it!
120-135 Kts is perfect. FSX-P3D, C172, C182, C185, DHC2 etc. (I'll think I'll give that latest grravel another run!)  Distance is 223 nm so trip time duration should run @ 2.5 hours.

Weather and Sim time:

Weather: Using live weather is greatly encouraged but if conditions deteriorate at start or during flight we can switch to few, broken clouds or high clouds.

Sim Start Time:  @1400 Local. (Dusk at end of flight)

Multi way pointed flight plans, pilot’s guide/detailed itinerary are available here.

No worries sir. Can modify the route and fly again in the Alps. It is a very pretty area and multiple ways to weave through the region.

PS: Note: "WARNING WARNING": There is one very KILLER strip in this route that we will attempt to land. It resembles a ski slope! We might need to make several approaches before actually trying to land then after landing we'll still need to call an ambulance!
