From another poster further up in the thread: Quote For anyone who does not like the scratched look of the windshields. I have a easy fix to get clear windshields while keeping the worn look of everything else. Per the manual (page 7), there are two sets of textures. Default (very worn) and Clean. I copied the "Arrowvc_11_albedo.png.dds" and .json from the clean folder to the ....Simobjects...Texture.vc folder (the manual has the step by step). I just saved myself thousands of dollars in a windshield replacement...... AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals

I mean appart from the change on the engine will there be other change in terms of avionics/cockpit style etc.. I'm on the fence for this GA, probably won't buy both even with the nice discount offered so trying to make my mind on the one I would likely enjoy the most. Maybe you already shared some preview screenshot? If it is the case sorry I have missed them. I think they will be different. March 11, 20215 yr @JustFlightScott Can you consider adding more features to the Garmin 100? Like being able to input waypoints by hand? I *HATE* the GNS in MSFS Juan Ramos

Dials are perfectly readable and so are the text for the various switches and controls. It's not a "Wow" feeling, but it looks nice (and worn if You like that, though it can be changed to a less worn look). I haven´t flown alot in it yet, but so far I really like it. Much appreciated. And yes, I’m fine with the worn look. Makes me feel more at home 😀 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.
March 11, 20215 yr So if I understand the texture argument - some people are saying "the marks and stains look the same as the P3D one" and then cite this as evidence of some sort of port - BUT Just Flight reply seems to be "they are actually new MSFS textures, just based on the same photos of the same real life aircraft" and hence of course some of the marks are going to be similar. Personally I think the price is reasonable, especially with the discount on the Turbo later. It is of course at a price point you need to actually want to fly it regularly (as opposed to an impulse buy to sit in your collection rarely used) .

It's for each and everyone of those folk that we continue doing what we do and long may it continue. I think this is so important. I bought it and had a great initial flight last night. I’m looking forward to more tonight. No major issues (only minor one was with the GNS530 pop out showing up as the GNS430) and the plane looks, sounds and flies great to me. Some areas for tweaking/patching for sure but I’m JF will do just that and some of the angst on this forum is over the top and unfair IMHO. Maybe COVID lockdowns have people more grumpy than usual but it does seem a bit over the top lately... March 11, 20215 yr Just wondering about the turbo version, is it like the real deal, like no need to adjust mixture setting because air density remain the same as you climb or is it like MSFS, which use altitude for A/F ratio even on a turbocharged engine? Edited March 11, 20215 yr by bendead
March 11, 20215 yr Did my first flight in it. I expected it to word not allowed all over the Carenado one, and the Carenado one held up surprisingly well. I give the nod to the Nado in exterior texturing and the AP implementation. I find the JF to zig zag when coupled in omni/nav modes. I will say I enjoy hand flying the JF one more, first plane in MSFS that to me at least, felt like a forward slip was closer to reality. March 11, 20215 yr Youtube is your friend. There are very many already on the Arrow. You should know in advance if you want this plane. The autopilots and radios are rather vintage and will appeal to many, but not all. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Someone posted some simvars or whatever earlier in this thread I believe. Bigger question for you, is your Honeycomb Bravo throttle working with MSFS? Mine sure isn't. I have no throttle axis at all.
