Did 8 flights since then with zero problems.

In the same place and same conditions?
This sim is weird. If I fly south of Salzburg, every time it’s a stutter fest. Doesn’t happen anywhere else, not even over Sydney.

Wow, now I am getting 3 FPS. I think this plane is going into the hangar and staying there.  $45 lesson.

This is something else. I have no FPS reduction whatsoever. In fact, when I fly FBW A320 it drops more fps than JF Arrow

Which is completely expected, the FBW has tons of custom code and systems behind the scene..

Cheers :)

You guys are right, over the same area in Texas. Decatur airport,  76T,  back to 5 fps in the Mooney. So I guess I got bit my the Update from Hell.

Now my next question is, if I change the profiles on the Arrow, do I have to change them again every time I use a different aircraft, or does the profile stay with the aircraft? I have FSUIPC, but I hate to have to set up everything again.

Can someone comment on the old-school Garmin? I learned to fly with a LORAN and I think it would be fun to use the old mapless Garmin. But there  are no instructions in the documentation. Does it really work? All features functioning? Can enter and follow a flight plan?

Interesting looking little plane.

Thanks

There seem to be pockets of places that this happens in around the world.

I am flying in a totally different area of the Midwest and now my airspeeds are OK....😉 130 Knots TAS

The II Morrow Lorans were easier to use then that GPS100.  The older Garmins were 'User Antagonistic' as opposed to 'User Friendly'.  😉  Probably a manual online somewhere though.

As a Commercial Member are you not supposed to put in your Signature just what your Commercial Membership involves - Company, Products, etc?

I have absolutely no idea. I started answering questions about the P3D release several years ago, shortly after 'commercial member' arrived underneath. I'm not a forum regular, don't really have time for that with real world work, family etc and only tend to come on here directly after releases to see if I can help out a bit with any problems. By all means complain to whoever put that there, get them to put something else there if you want but as I said, I really don't have the time sorry.

Flying the JF Arrow around Houston is a terrible experience for me. Very low FPS. I deleted everything and I am now waiting for the reinstall to complete. Which btw, is also very slow compared to what it used to be.

I discovered today that Texas is not a good place to fly, unless you want a slide show.

On the Honeycomb stuff, yeah you have to use the toggle binds for some of the stuff as mentioned.  I ended up setting the rocker switches up through Vjoy and Joystick Gremlin a few  weeks ago finally so I could use the switches without the 10 degree heading issue anyway so that makes it really easy to set both directions to a toggle as JG makes them only activate for a very brief period.  Supposedly this is finally going to be fixed in WU4 anyway.  Also for controller sensitivity I was poking around in the support section of their site and they do recommend the linear sensitivity  config. Optimal Controller Sensitivity Settings : The Spirit of Flight Simulation (justflight.com)

Looks like there is somekind of update available. Just downloaded 0.1.0a

Can somebody confirm that?

I wonder if it's some kind of installer fix or something?  I just downloaded it but it told me 0.1.0 was already installed when I tried to run it.

That's exactly my impression.

I flew around Nagasaki last night, ~35-40fps which is about what I was getting with the stock Bonanza.  I think it's unlikely any performance issues are the Arrow's fault.
