Real CRJ pilot says MSFS CRJ is a huge step up from P3D CRJ

Featured Replies

Well, this is interesting.  Twitch streamer "edwardthepilot," a real life certified and type rated CRJ pilot, says the MSFS CRJ is a huge step up from the P3D CRJ:

This is interesting because edwarthepilot has been very critical of MSFS for the longest time on his stream.  The fact that he has come out in favor of the CRJ, especially given that he is a type rated CRJ pilot, implies the CRJ for MSFS is very good.

Oh well, looks like my pockets are going to be a little lighter again after today.  I wasn't going to buy this just yet but the previews all seem very positive so far and who doesn't love a CRJ?

If you go on edwardthepilot's Twitch stream, he disses MSFS a lot. I mean, I don't think I've ever heard him say anything positive about MSFS.  This is why I was surprised by his reaction on the MSFS CRJ, especially since he is a real life CRJ pilot.

Looks like they did.  The reviews have been quite positive as they have been rolling in so far.

Can't tell he has been streaming for over 2 1/2  hours still at the gate? The other streamers are not RWP can't take much from their streams.

He was going through the preflight checklist.  But the fact that he can spend so long on the preflight checklist is a good sign because it means the CRJ is detailed enough for edward to spend time on it, since he knows the CRJ so well in real life.

It's delayed, the APU is busted and they're waiting for an air start unit. That's how realistic it is. 🤣

It is released on Aerosoft!

Do we have to buy the CRJ to get the nice watermarks seen at the 50’’ mark 😈 ?

Must be an Air Canada pilot then.

So one aircraft made the sim better??  I don't get it.
