42 on the in game market, 50-something on the Aerosoft site. Take a wild guess which one I went for.

42 is the price without VAT. I'm from EU, so it was also 50 for me through the game market.

??

How does that work??

T45

MSFS marketplace has regional pricing, like Steam - prices tend to be lower in lower-income countries like Turkey.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

I kind of regret buying this now, it's not compatible with MSFS flight planner and future AIRAC won't be free... 😕

Yesterday I asked if i have to buy a subscription to navigraph or NavDataPro from Aerosoft to have updated AIRAC Data in about half a year or so.

The answer of Mathijs Kok was: "In half a year we most certainly hope to be able to use the MSFS nav database, so that most likely will not be an issues"

Actually is seems they can not access the nav data of the sim through their C++ Code. The CRJ is shipped with actual AIRAC Data from Lufhansa. When they can implement the access to the nav data of msfs in half a year then the actual AIRAC data should be good till then.

Only just bought the thing, and you know me, the first priority was to find a song for the review, not flying the thing lol. And I don't know what they're trying to infer with that registration, I hardly touched a drop. 🤣

Apologies its the VS button for dialing the vertical rates. Indeed no VNAV button as such. So I dialed select ALT and then hit VS and dialed the vertical speed. Levels off nicely and now hold my ALT level

Yes thanks. Still can't ALT selector my honeycomb get to work. Everything else VS, SPD, HDG seems work OK. For now ALT has to be set via mouse inside CRJ cockpit

Looks like we can click on the PFD & MFD etc. (with the "hand), but when it is clicked nothing happens. I expected to see a popup. Is there some other way?  BTW, right click is a no go too.

Take your time mate. Take your time. Officialdom would say 8 Hours bottle to throttle.

No rush. Finish your pint. Actually don't.

Get it in the air and report back please. 🙂

I believe you can like uploading a saved flight plan.

Place your flp file (e.g. Simbrief prepared flight plan) in this user\your name\... location

CRJ-FLT-PLAN.jpg

This is free. register yourself here and start flight plans and you can set it to auto save in that location directly.

https://www.simbrief.com

IF....

the nav data bases match (unlikely)

AS for this aircraft has its own (does not use the MSFS one, side note - you must pay to update it).  Simbreif uses a quite older one for free or again, you must pay to update it.  Regardless of which combination you use, you will come across problems from time to time.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB

Another thing my squawk always shows STBY and TCAS OFF even thought inside ATC1 menu is set to ALT and TCAS is on AUTO

You have to switch the transponder itself on with a rotary switch on the center console. It is near the standby tuning unit. Center is off. Rotate left to select transponder one, or right to select transponder two.

I am sure this is deliberate as this is an actual (informal) phrase for an alcoholic in german. 😉

Song suggestion: What shall we do with the drunken sailor?
