I made them myself.

PanAm can be found here: https://flightsim.to/file/10630/bombardier-crj700-pan-am

TWA still needs a bit of TLC, and Piedmont is also in the pipeline:

All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2

It should be able to switch from white needles to green needles automatically, but I’ve had varied success with it. Some situations it works, others where it should work (at least in the real plane) it does not work in the simulated version.

To be safe, going HDG, switching sources and arming approach mode is the safest way.

Perfect, thanks very much!  I'll give it a chance to switch, but will be ready for the manual switch if needed, see how that works.

2) Does anyone else think that the environmental sounds of the wind whistling in the cruise is a bit OTT?

Agree with you on this for sure...I lowered my Environment sounds to I think 75 and it helps take it down a bit.  I think this is an MSFS effect and not the CRJ...

I now managed to achieve 1 ILS landing out of 20 attempts. I admit to not being a great pilot, but this is below what can be expected IMHO. I can't even get this plane to hold an altitude, climb or descend in VS. Either I am an word not allowed or the AP logic is failed.

Same. I just tried again to hand fly one since I always get the uncommanded descent from ALT HOLD. Impossible. I kept sinking. Full elevator. Then more trim. Still a 1.0 k descent. Finally got it way nose up and on the runway but the reversers wouldn't work. So I roll down the runway with the nose off the ground for 3/4 of the runway. Quite humorous. I think I'm gonna spend some time in Train Sim World until they can get things sorted.

I had this problem till I realized I was not turning the Thrust Reversers back on before landing. If the switches were set to ON, I have no clue! Just trying to help. BTW, is this unique to the CRJ series of aircraft. I don't think I have ever seen seen switches for turning them ON and OFF. But I've never had a ton of airliner type jets for flight sim either. Of course I have only flown the MSFS A320, and the Boeing 737 ( in another sim, the Zibo ), 747, and now 777.

Any switches in particular you would like to know about?

No, you pretty much went through them all, I think. I mainly just have to go through the PDF, and mainly The Dude tutorials as I do better with visual content then reading. That's just me. I know one thing I have to learn how to set up my custom views for this plane, to make it easier for me to set it up, flip switches, etc... Like others I keep hitting switches by accident ( which is on me ), scrolling around and such. And because there is no VISUAL light On or OFF, it's something I have to get used too, looking at the MFD, etc... Mainly me over time getting used to the aircraft, and after many times, understanding what needs to be done. It's all about me learning, but I am having a blast. I suspect in time, things will be updated, etc... Other people here will offer help to one another, etc...

It's all about the FUN for me. If I enjoy my purchase, and I have so far, it's all that really matters. Will I get frustrated, of course, but most of the time it is something I did wrong, or not in the correct order. Now, if something is broken, missing, needs updating, I suspect it will be fixed in the future. So far, for most, not all, it appears to be a very popular aircraft, MOST people are enjoying. There is no way everyone is going to be happy, cause people have different expectations, but I am good at this point.

Love the EFB and the different states you can use Cold & dark, Turnaround, Ready For Taxi ( my favorite right now, cause me lazy, and want to get in the air ), etc... A lot to learn for me 🙂

Wonder if in the future the MSFS Checklist will work, where it highlights the buttons and such? If ever? If they don't I kind of understand cause most people who want this type aircraft are switch flippers, and want to operate as close to real world as they can, so I get it!

Custom views are easy in MSFS. You first set a specific view to your preference using the keyboard arrow keys to move left/right/up/down, or ALT + up/down. You can also pan and tilt.

Once the view is the way you want it, press CTL + ALT + a top row number key from 1 through 9. You can recall the view by pressing ALT + the number key.

These custom views are associated with the aircraft model, so you can have one set of custom views for the CRJ and a completely different set for the TBM or 172 etc.

Wow, I still have yet to do an ILS, or have successful RNAV approach...Most of the time the altitude drops and plane crashes, as it descends into a neighborhood, as I try to adjust VS and ALT to get it back, without taking over hand flying, as I am trying to do an ILS or RNAV.

Think they need to have a message over the announcement from the back to brace for impact, or assume crash positions,  think it would be played more often in my jet.  This will be my last Aerosoft purchase.  I am pretty done with this plane... its just frustrating to fly it...

I am actually enjoying the CRJ now I got my dark cockpit fixed, without having to load multiple times to activate the CRJ.

The GS is wonky.. I did one ILS approach and when I realized it was making a dive, I turned off the AP and manually landed. But can't use the CRJ for a near 0 visibility landing  take it all the way down to 200 AGL.... until the  GS is fixed.

Not sure if I can take this to  KASE (Aspen Airport) (Not due to the flaw of this CRJ..more like its going to hard) and perform the Step Down approach there.   No ILS but the amount of  work required is going to be  handful especially using a mouse.

Edited to Add: I would like someone to fly this KDEN to KASE  LOC-DME (Step down) approach on the CRJ and put it on You Tube. ...Fly from KDEN to the IAF at Red Table VOR thence the approach to landing.. to see how its to be done.
