There is one real cure, but it is not a very beautiful one:

This strange workaround helps in all regions with stutters, even in this notorious Bishop, Texas: Go in developer mode/Options/Terrain and deselect "Draw On Terrain". In my case I had smooth 45 to 50 fps in Bishop again. This is not a fix, of course. You have to stay in developer mode and the ground on larger airports looks like word not allowed with this workaround. But the stutter is gone.

Chasing fixes and updates may be fine for the moment - but every update has pretty much rendered them useless as Asobo makes changes to the engine.  If it works now for you great...I am off that train for now.....

That option have been activated on my exe since game release, it doesn't help at all, obvious clickbait.

Not totally worthless, I learned the location of "FlightSimulator.exe." Always wondered where it was hiding, so thanks to the OP or whoever made the video.

I managed to get through a couple short flights without extended periods of slide-o-rama...a few instances lasting a couple of minutes. Still just a band aid

This fix increased the framerate at T76 bishop by 0.001 fps and reduced my hemorrhoids by 0.00001 inches.

P.S. Old useless tip, clickbait title... thumbed down.

so much voodoo about

My game ran better yesterday when the cat was in the room, I might make a video about how cat based enhancements are the new thing in MSFS.  Potentially just playing YouTube cat videos on another screen may help without needing a real cat.

Now it makes sense.

My framerate went up by 10% for one day ; now I know that it was because a pigeon was  looking through the window at me....

Another useful trick to know. Get yourself some round and smooth river pebbles. Important that they are smooth or it doesn’t work. Put them on top of your computer for a full night, they will absorb all the negative energy which is at the root of the stutters. Lithotherapy rules.

And do not forget to make a You Tube as a proof !

Oh no, that would be bad! Playing cat videos will make me stop flying! 😀

I tested this last night... agree not completely worthless, although the problem it might address is not the one many of us are having since the last update.
I noticed that my FPS was somewhat better, less stutters on panning perhaps, but the jerk-fest that happens intermittently since WU3 is of course not affected by this.

what I did find is the sim is worst in planes with G1000/3000 gps (modded or unmodded) but not so bad - markedly better in the WT CJ4, and allegedly in the FBW 320 which I don’t fly.

YMMV of course but I’d be interested to know if anyone sees the same thing? The other oddity is my FPS is better on the ground and than it is in the air, opposite to what I’d find in P3D.
