March 23, 20215 yr Moderator I have to wonder why no one has created a "last ditch system" to override the PIC whenever the aircraft is obviously out of control. While the new Garmin emergency landing system is a good first step, even it requires someone on the flight deck to recognize the situation and push a button. Automation has surely advanced enough to stabilize an out of control aircraft IMHO. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
