I've been a hater ....

I think this is another example that backs up my claims and feelings from the other thread. There are P3D and XP users that simply aren't aware of what the new sim is really capable of. I think many tried it out after release and didn't see what they wanted and wrote it off.

I spent 200+ hrs on the Alpha and Beta it was the way Asobo treated the testers and the initial release that alienated me....

Ha, I'm with you there. I wish we weren't still under a gag order about that whole thing.

Sounds about right. 200+ hrs, aplha, beta testing, and flying, updating post release, no CTDs mind you, visually absolutely beautiful and that's where our love ends, and now the sim is gone from my pc, it'll come back eventually  of course, just not yet.

I was about 5 minutes from purchasing P3D V 5, when I was getting the slew of CTDs, a week after I installed MSFS 2020 on my brand new PC, that I purchased just for MS 2020. Every other flight was a crash to desktop. Then I took a chance and tried the CTD Vaccine, and my troubles were over. Would I even consider P3D now, after flying about 130 hours on MSFS 2020, no way. To me that would be a major step backwards. As long as they don't break what I have now with these non beta tested updates, I am happy. .

word not allowed, I don't remember last time I had a CTD in P3D, I know I haven't had it in MSFS.

We would Go to MSFS, But in the moment we have no chance to get our 737 full hardware cockpit running with the new Simulator. The sim is Not ready for exclusive hardware in that moment.

The same here. And if it will ever be ready remains a question....

It boggles the mind how anyone involved in flight simming cannot know about WT, FBW, the dozens of other mods, and the thousands of freeware scenery addons, not to mention the dozens of other fixes the community has provided over the past very short 7 months.

Sure.  Most of it starts with

If only they popped their head in there for a few seconds...

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

The fact, that FSUIPC is available for MSFS is very impotant too.  As long as you have your Hardware working under FSUIPC, most of it will work.

For me, the BFFSimulatin FFB-Hard- and Software works with MSFS as good as with P3D.

All the other stuff i use ( Saitek-Panels, Knob-Boxes ) works well too.

If you don't mind me asking, what is this "CTD Vaccine" you speak of?
