Carenado Big Sale

Recommended Posts

I really like the look of their Beechcraft D18S, but can't find many reviews or ratings for it. The one or two comments I could find say it doesn't have good sounds and that is very important to me. Also the flight model is apparently a bit iffy. So, I'm on the fence here.

Planning on getting it, this thread has tips on FDE ad sound

Thanks Keith, that may just do the trick. I really love those old vintage aircraft and Carenado have done such a good job with the way it looks. Pity developers very often neglect the sounds

Might get the F406, the only plane in the P3D world that seems to have an EDF 1000

Guys.  asked this in the other forum, but this thread might be more active.  If I buy the phenom 300 do I also have to buy the navigraph addon if I already have a navigraph subscription?  Or is that just for people who don't have one.

I have the Beech D18S. I fly it completely stock, I think it's great.  I'm not a pilot, now or ever.

Dave,

I use my  Navigraph subscription for all Carenado aircraft that have an FMS. No need for the addon.

sids and stars work?  Reason I ask is somebody in another thread said the opposite answer.  Thanks so much for the reply

I do not think I can use SIDs or STARs with my Carenado aircraft either with a Navigraph subscription or with the Carenado addon. That is true of the Embraer 300 for which I have both.

I bought the addon.  SIDs and STARs work with it.  However I read if you have the addon that means you can't import a flightplan made on simbrief.  Meaning manual entry every time.  So pick your poison I guess.

I have many Carenado aircrafts, including pc-12, Saab 340, Do-228, Grand Caravan, B1900D.

Texture quality 5/5*

System depth 2-2,5/5*

So if you want visual fidelity and something to make a quick hop, Carenado is for you. If you want something more realistic, get the Majestic dash Q400.

My favorite Carenado is the pc-12 and Do 228. Saab 340 is also nice,. but really light system wise.

Any experiences with the following

Turbo Commander 690B

XL560 Citation

 H25B H850XP HD Series

525A Citation CJ2 HD Series

 390 Premier 1A

I prefer biz jets over props but the Do-228, PC-12 and Turbo Commander have my attention also.

I own the TBM already and was never a fan of it...particular the engine sounds and aerodynamics of it.

I may just ditch all of the Citations out of my cart and purchase the Flight 1 Mustang.

I would not recommend you to buy a bizjet from Carenado. I have heard rumors of them being even more dissapointing system wise than the props.

Try flightsimware. They have new hd textures on the learjet and falcon + often hold a -40% sale. 😉

And if you fly pax jets, the qw 146/avro is the best under 20$ ac ever made. I also love the tdfi 717 (now when it is polished) and would recommend the iFly 737 -series, also including the BBJ  🙏
