The extra 10% off for PCaviators tuesday sale tipped the balance and I got the Beech 18.
https://www.pcaviator.com/store/product.php?productid=21654&cat=0&page=1

Looks very nice, works well, sounds OK (not tried the sound and FDE fixes yet).
Slightly disappointed that all cockpits are 'modernised' with GPS and modern radios 😞
Would like an original.

Works well in P3DV5.1 and in VR 🙂
Even imports into MSFS, where you get a unique working skeleton view of the airframe, engines, u/c etc...

Have we became civilized? There is no-one bashing Carenado in this thread. Quite pleasant to read.

I was thinking of getting the original Grand Caravan 208B with the expansion pack. Can this version be fitted with the GTN 750? Any comments regarding sounds or flight characteristics? What is the difference between this version and the "EX" version?

Thanks!

I'm tempted to grab two more planes.

The King Air 350i and the CJ2.

Just can't resist for $11.99...

For 70 percent off, who wants to bash when everybody should be happy with 70 percent off????

Or maybe I should whine that Fokker F50 is 50 percent off instead of 70 percent off??

hheheheheheheheh

Happy shopping to all of you.   Carenado gives all of you nice Passover and Easter present by offering you heavy discounts

Regards,

Aharon

Unlike some other recent Carenado aircraft, such as the Fokker 50, ATR72 and Brasilia, their Beech 1900 has a moderate VAS footprint which, as you know, is always an important consideration when using FSX. As far as FPS is concerned, I don't routinely measure this but I haven't noticed anything that might indicate poor frame rates as the 1900's performance generally appears quite smooth. Excellent value at the sale price!

The XL560 has a very heavy VAS footprint.

I don't see anything in my original Grand Caravan duo that would assist in installing a GTN 750.
