A new plane in MSFS world update 4(France, Nederlands)?

Recommended Posts

(38:20 is Matt Nischan).

But, my focus is 48:00 Joerg on the new airports, working with Orbx to 'fix' over 100 things, and he seems to be saying there is probably a new plane in the package??? I'm trailing the pack here, and don't know which it could possibly be???

Meh. Let's see them bring the physics engine up to P3D standards and fix their other default aircraft before introducing new ones.

It is - just need to use legacy mode. Only problem is that the new flight model is not mature yet.

Happy with MSFS 🙂

The other plane could be the Dash 8; I seem to recall some rumours about that showing up, and it would flesh things out a bit to have turboprop regional in the default aeroplanes, as this is a type conspicuous by its absence in the sim.

Pity that we are not on April 1st. Announcing a partnership between MFS and Majestic would have made an interesting thread.

Blame Pilot Emilie if it is.  She has single handedly created a huge interest in the Dash 8 among newer players.

737 was MSFS trademark for many years. So I wonder!

Stop spreading bad information if you don’t know what you are talking about. There are a million problems every day (posted on all the forums and social media sites) that people experience because they are for some unknown reason flying on Legacy flight model. NONE of the aircraft in MSFS (default or payware) are designed to be used with Legacy. It is strictly for use with aircraft that are converted from FSX. If you fly with Legacy, you WILL experience issues.

Interesting, but we don't have time for non productive chatter.  We like to keep things clean and simple.  The flight sim community "at times" has the potential to turn "humor" in to a royal sh*t show.

It would however be good to see a variant of the Dash 8 from MSFS, which would be properly modeled visually among other things - and would certainly ramp up the commuter enthusiast's interest.

Cheers

A nice shell with no meat inside, that would be a sure recipe to bring havoc over here.

A Dash 8 would be great, but given that this is the France and Benelux update, an ATR or a Fokker would be more fitting...

Or for a real vintage MSFS throwback, how about a Sopwith Camel? 😉

Anxious waiting for the Benelux + France update.

A new plane ? What about the A380 ?

A Dash 8 would be nice, although I do have a friend who, along with his colleagues, has worked on servicing many of them and doesn't have much good to say. Hopefully we wouldn't feel the same about an MSFS version!🤞😊

There's been an in engine render of a Dash-8 in the game files since launch.

"MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Packages\fs-base-ui\html_ui\Textures\PlaceHolder\Market"

There's a Dash8 model in the

"\official\Steam\fs-base\scenery\Global\Asobo_Planes\Asobo_Planes.BGL"

File, but ModelConverterX can't read it, and loading it into the sim, there's nothing. It could be a dummy file or an older format.
