Why did you uninstall everything when all one needs to do is to uninstall the driver and re-install the 461.92 version?

Luckily I haven't updated drivers, but just in case for future reference (in case this happens again) and for those who have...how do you roll back drivers?

@BWBriscoe easiest way is to go to Nvidia's website.  And go to the drivers section.  Then you will see a line beta and older Drivers.  Search by your card.  Get the one that's not the newest that you had before.  DL it, install it.

***Best practice however would be to download the driver as above but use the DDU program to do a complete removal of your older drivers and reinstall the new one.  It's important to do safe mode and also to make sure you remove the network cable when rebooting so windows doesn't try to install a GPU driver on your behalf.

Instructions for DDU:

The one time I dont check forums for an error like this....

Re-installed Windows and spent the evening re-installing everything.

New OS had the issue, rolled back drivers and it's fixed.

At least I have a clean OS now?

oh man.  sounds like a major PIA.  I have a simple rule.  If P3D won't start or gives me some other kind of problem, I ask myself what have I (or a program) changed since last time it worked correctly.
