Gerard has always been P3D-positive I think (?), he’s a Prosim guy.

I was just kidding! He´s a prosim user as far as I know.

but everyone else returning needs to agree to have their post history audited. For many, a period of confinement in our new Re-education Forum for 6 months or so will be required before they rejoin the P3D community that they so hastily left!

OK, so if this is pointless let me add one question - what is that airport on prepar3d.com in the section for P3Dv5 HF1? The one with circles of green trees between paralell runways?

It's the default Randolph Air Force base.

Well this will be the end of the MSFS2020 thingy for sure!! If I had ever down loaded MSFS 2020 then I would be removing it now to make room for the new Prepar3d. One question for the experts out there: Will my computer run this new version of P3D or should I just go ahead and order the new HAL 62000 and maybe 400 GB of RAM? I am also keen to find out if my add ons that I bought for FS2000 work or will I have to wait for new installers? I hope so because I have already spent my yearly flight sim budget of $3.95 for this year. I heard that one beta tester for the new P3d release was able to run it just fine on an old Iphone 6 using an xbox controler mounted to the top of a Cigar box.. I can't wait for this release I am so excited!! Just knowing that this release is almost ready just makes the current flight sims boring and I am just not going to fly until this new program comes out. Good bye MSFS2020!!😂

Well, you’re on the beta team I think.

You can’t talk about the beta, but you can presumably say if something is fake news.

So...I have heard on good authority (the Avsim guys) that P3D v5.2 will be out in the next 2 weeks.

Answer (a) if this is nonsense.

Answer (b) if “I can not comment on this matter” - i.e. this is true, but hey - NDA.

😉

Maybe they will release v4.6 with DX12 support, guaranteed stutter free performance with 500 AI planes on display, and a Lockheed Martin branded easter egg with a voucher inside for a free F35 jet?

I don't want to raise the temperature in here any higher... but the P3D forum has just gone into maintenance mode by the looks of it (the theme reverted to default and now it's erroring out as if the database has been taken offline). It literally happened while I was browsing it, 3 minutes ago.

Edit: the forum is offline completely and you get a 404 taking you back to the main P3D site. So some kind of maintenance is clearly happening.

Let the pointless speculation continue!

Works fine for me now (7:12 am MST). Hopefully they have implemented new spam filters :)

hey!...a new F35 would be great. We could buy a bunch of USB interface cards and connect our computersto the flight instruments and have a proper "Flight Sim" home cockpit!

Just joking Kaiii3, love the work you and your buddies are doing. AIG implementation is currently one of the big advantages P3D has over other sims, I really miss it when I fly the other sims.

Hi Gerard!

Aren´t you on MSFS? 😉

EDIT: You are coming back to LM right......as all the others did also and more to come or?

Who said that I was away ? Never was. I make 4-5 flights each week and am enjoying v5.1.

Only with each MSFS update I test my Prosim 737 NG with it and I still get Simconnect CTD’s.
