Panning in 2D Cockpit (View)

I know you can do this but cannot remember the change you must make in the fsx.cfg file.Can anyone remind me please? Many thanks.

In the (CONTROLS) section add: pan_in_cockpit_mode=1.It only pans the view out through the windshield though, not the view inside of the panel. To me it looked a little strange, so I went back in and made it mode=0.

Excellent, thanks very much.Whilst on the subject of panning, how does one make it smoother? I have tried adjusting the slider within controls/joystick but that just increases/decreases the rate. It seems to jump in increments which is hardly realistic. Thanks.
