  • DevMode:
    • We split the “Documentation” tab in the DevMode into 2 links: “Open local,” to open the files you downloaded with your SDK update, or “Open online,” which will lead you to docs.FlightSimulator.com. The latter should always be the most up-to-date, even though we try to avoid differences between them.
    • Along with the next update, we shipped a first wizard, which will automatically create the XML files for your newly created airports.
    • We fixed a crash when exiting “one-click placing” with Properties window visible.
  • SimConnect
    • We now expose Rotation Acceleration simvars. Available with the next update!
    • The SimVarWatcher sample has been updated to include recently added SimVars and Units.

Good news about the beta tests. Also I am wondering, it seems these new simvars either for PMDG or QW 👀

Happy to see moves towards large scale beta testing and also that performance fixes from the latest hot fix are listed as 'partial'.

Will this help developers to create airplanes with a less aggressive pitch movement?:

Move into the right direction with the beta testers! Thank you.

I still like to see a 'voluntary' or 'opt in' update feature, which would allow me to be one or two updates 'behind'.

The update experience has not been good, since release to say the least. I still have major performance issues since world update 3. Popping out a window (i.e. PFD, ND) decreases frame rates by 10 fps for each window. Which was not the case before update 3.

Otherwise. Keep up the good work.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

considering the focus of the update, 300 is a lot. At least if they all actually test instead of just treating it like a demo.

Yep. Beta testing comes with responsibility. Plus, Asobo should be issuing very specific guidelines to beta testers to ensure feedback is relevant. No point hiring 300 beta testers that spend their time bombing around in the USA when all the work has been done in France. No point either in the testers going off at a tangent about live weather not working when it is not a part of the scope of the release.

I keep getting this despite having followed all the workarounds for the autherror=xbla_invalid error.

Will be interesting to see what the livery samples provides us with. Would be good for an official way of producing liveries.

April 13th is going to be a busy day, first the WU4 release then a couple of hours later the Q&A with the devs where we will get a preview of what's coming in SU4 and WU5 among other things.
