Anyone else using Ernie Alston's Gauges?

Maybe I missed a thread or two, but is anyone else using ErnieAlston's new gauges for FSX? He has a website, "Integrated Simavionics" that displays them. I'll tell you, they are a lot of fun. I've replaced a number of FSX default aircraft with his work and it's been very successful. There's an HDI, ADI, MCU, MFD and even a good basic rudimentary flight managment computer. I use the FSX updated FS Panel Studio to update my panels. Check it out: http://www.isgsim.com/?page=homeRandy Jura, KPDX

I do.And IMHO these gauges deserve an A3 award instantly. Why? Because it's the FIRST and ONLY "true" FMS _gauge_ collection EVER since FS exists. So far, we only had GPSs to retrofit.Hope there's more to come!Andreas

>There's an HDI, ADI,>MCU, MFD and even a good basic rudimentary flight managmentI'd say "basic" and "rudimentary" in this context are a completely wrong description of what ISG-1 really is!Bendix King has a downloadable pdf manual of their GNS-XLS, read for yourself to see the big difference between it and "traditional" Garmin GNS units (IMHO the GNS-XLS is not for GA).Isgsim/Ernie Alston has done a great job modelling the gauge after the real thing!Andreas

Your critique is so noted, I guess I should not call the GNS-XLS a FMC such as comes packaged with an Airbus or Boeing big jet. None the less, it is a great, highly functional unit and that it is modeled after an actual real world instrument is fantastic!Randy Jura, KPDX
