April 16, 20215 yr Escape (Active Pause) has caused problems since the first release, but I guess there are new ones now. I quit using it long ago and mapped a key for the plain old fashioned Pause which never gave me the problems that Active Pause did.

Fortunately, Jorg said in the most recent Q&A dev stream that they would change the selection process in future. Yup, this time they're going with pin the tail on the donkey. April 16, 20215 yr Use Active Pause if you need a break. And stop fiddling around with your settings... What's the big deal?
April 16, 20215 yr It is a very Big deal to not press ESC and enter Controls menu to change profiles: https://photos.app.goo.gl/mZ6SW2V4jitHXEN48

Remember the vast majority of simmers don't visit forums and I bet most are not concerned with this. The avsim "sack the developers and escalate to management" group are a storm in a teacup I am afraid. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Default key mappings are: ESC key: Toggle Pause PAUSE key: Toggle Active Pause Much as I hate to say it - and I really do - I've never seen this problem, I fly almost exclusively in the FBW A320 and at rare occasions the default C172 (G1000). April 16, 20215 yr I've been hitting on the esc key more often than I've been hitting on beach girls in St. Tropez (in keeping with the French theme of this release) and never had an issue.
April 16, 20215 yr I am with Ricardo on this one. Zero issues. Same with every update since release. I have encountered nothing game breaking, not even once. Performance great, scenery great, aircraft as expected. I am sometimes confused with forum posts until I remember this is where people come to discuss issues. A lot of the nil-factors probably don't surface here. P3Dv4 + XP11 MFS

I didn't until today, after pausing the CJ lost speed - kept adding throttle to no avail. Then looked down and saw speed brakes at 50%.... G Do yo have rudder pedals Gaz? I thought it had already been established it was only with rudder pedals attached. I haven't seen the bug, but I don't have rudder pedals.
