Out of interest - What regions / countries of the base game are already high resolution textures? Not including the updated ones like Japan, US ect.

I very often fly in Saxony. You should try the little airfield EDAR near Dresden - fly a little along the river to the west, the turn south to the Czech Republic and land in Most or Usti nad Labem. The ground textures are very good, the scenery is a little mountaineous and overall of a high quality. Not all of Germany is that good texture-wise. Some parts at the Baltic Sea are not pretty. EDDF to the Rhine river then north through the Rhine valley to Cologne for example is very good, though.

France of course mostly has very good ground textures now. My Airliner flights I usually do in the UK and the US west coast, because it looks so good. 🙂

I just checked in on my sim and I see Steam version 1.15.8.0, no visible sign of update progress, so must have updated without me knowing. No muss, no fuss, Don't ya just love Steam!
