pmdg 777-200lr no raas

hi..i just bought a new computer and reinstalled my pmdg777-200lr ...and i have no RAAS

i also installed the fs2crew pmdf 777-lr

i have windows 10 now  i had windows 7 and it was working great

any help is appreciated

The locked version of RAAS comes with the PMDG 777.

Please ensure your PMDG 777 is fully up to date from PMDG.

Also, in the PMDG equipment options in the FMC, there's an option to enable/disable RAAS.

Ensure it's enabled.

 

Also, check your DLL.xml.  If there's a problem with it, RAAS won't get loaded.

hi..thanks for the quick reply...the raas is enabled the 777..

i just redownloaded the 777 from pmdg so it should be up to date..when i finsihed. downloading the 777 there were 8 updates ..i downloaded them

 

im sorry i do not know how to update the dll  thing

im pretty computer illeriate

If RAAS is in fact enabled in the PMDG and RAAS doesn't show up in the Addons menu, then 99.9 percent of the time there's a corruption on the DLL.xml.

sorry  when i downloaded fs2crew for the pmdg777-200lr on your download page there are two downloads available..would the bottom download be for prepard?

i download the top download

new question

when i am in the simulator  in the  pmdg777-200lr sitting at a gate ...in the top bar when i click on the addons..the pmdg option is there fsuipc is there ..BUT no raas

on my old computer windows 7 it was there i could check all the options i wanted but it is not there now

if i could find out how to put the  raas addon in fsx it would solve my problem...i put raas in fsx....(c:programs..etcetcetc) but it is not there

i updated it  but no joy..i copied my old fsx from my old computer to the new one and still didnt work

  one last question i have a folder called rraspro.is this the right one?

rather than waste more of your time i will live with it the way it is

oh..i copied the old   appdate..roaming . (the raaspro)..and it now works...i am a happy captain
