I've just swapped my AIO to a Gammaxx L360 (360mm).  This is only £70 here in the UK.  Hottest I've seen my 5600x get to since I've installed it is 63oC and thats after a good 8 hour session.

Heat is not an issue on the 5600x due to its low power consumption. Not the case with the 5900 and 5950 which draw approx. twice as much power.  The 5800x is even worse in that regard as all this power (read : heat) is spread overasingle core cluster

I have been an Intel man for years, and just read up today, that AMD 5900x is kicking the butt out of Intel.  Then again if you look at past experience, especially the last 20 years, for flight simming the way to go was always Intel., that's the standard.

Except for a short period of time when the AMD FX57 was king (2005-2006?).

All these good reports of the 5900X make me want to build one.  I haven't built an AMD rig since...probably 2006!!
