I am itching to get it 😅

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

It would be awesome in VR.  But it's too slow for me hehe.  Needs a GotGravel turboprop LOL

I'd rather have a helicopter for slow and low!

This would be perfect for scenery exploring.

I’ve just bought it, and had the most amazing flight to date. At first I wasn’t too impressed, as I already have the VGP Powersolo, which is beefier, and better specced. I flew from Land’s End up to St. Ives, with live weather, with it blowing about 14 knots. I flew directly there, just like any, regular flight, and it was a bit naff. However, for the return flight I decided to hog the cliffs, and swoop into every little cove and bay. With the wind being so strong, and the plane weighing next to nothing, it was nothing short of exhilarating.

For much of the flight I would be crabbing along, then suddenly receive a huge tail wind as I swept into a cove, followed by a headwind as I came out. But the flight model, and interaction with the wind was like nothing I’ve flown before. I made the trip in VR, and it was the nearest thing I’ve ever felt to true, pure flight. Like a seagull battling a storm. I had to do some huge wingovers to keep the flight going, and I was actually grinning from ear to ear during the flight, and laughing as I almost got slammed into the cliffs numerous times. What a great, new way to enjoy this sim.  More than pleased with the purchase.

So this is their first payware offering from MS/Asobo? Smart for them to make it a smaller aircraft at a very nice price of $9.99 to start their own payware offerings, I think. Kind of that price point people don't have to think about a lot, IF they like that type of aircraft, or want to see if they enjoy that type of aircraft.

I'll have to keep an eye on this one. Hope the people that get it, enjoy it 🙂

I don’t know if I’d use it much for general A-B flights, as it is excruciatingly slow. But for throwing it around in rough air it is second to none. There was a part of the flight that followed a train line, that was hollowed into the ground like a mini Deathstar run. So much fun.

I really envy you guys using VR.  I used it a little with DCS and P3D....DCS was really neat...I even got a little sick at first lol.

I just bought it, and I'm extremely impressed.  The STOL capability makes me "forget" about the burning desire I had for a helicopter.  The low and slow flight coupled with the quick rotation made for a wonderfully satisfying first flight around Frankfurt.  Seeing the airport from this ultralight's perspective makes the experience so rewarding.  I'm looking forward to flying it in SO many places in this world.

It doesn't make me dream at all.

Interesting, for the price might be worth a shot.  It does concern me that if real life me got Into the plane it’s gross weight would nearly double lol

Thanks for this.  Think I might grab it and head on over to Torrey Pines!
