Asus Rog Strix Z490 Gaming-E versus Asus Rog Maximus XII Hero Wifi

Which one is better for overclocking i9-10900K? Do I get some profit getting the second one which costs 150 euros extra?

I can only speak to the Maximus XII Hero...it was my first choice and has proven itself to be a rock-solid board with the 10900K.

Yup...very stable, and very easy to do the overclock.  10 physical cores at 5.2 really does carry the mail.

Really glad to hear it. It's sitting in its box on the floor along with the 10900K two feet from my right leg.

As I recall, overclocking it did require taking it out of the box.  😜
