May 6, 20215 yr Commercial Member As of today, Multi Crew Experience has full integration with FlyByWire stable release V0.6 as well as Aerosoft CRJ. <media> </media> <media> David wasn't aware when he made the video, FO can automatically fetch Vspeeds for both FlyByWire and CRJ All users will need a full install. Un-install previous version via Windows Control Panel. Do not delete anything manually. Download(save), latest version, unzip and run "InstallMCE". When done, read the "Using MCE with MSFS 2020" pdf document Windows Start->Multi Crew Experience->Using MCE with MSFS 2020 Edited May 6, 20215 yr by FS++ Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
May 6, 20215 yr Thank you so much guys, this is excellent. I haven't gave this a try yet, struggling with the fs updater at the moment, but i wanted to ask if it is still impossible to receive pfd events with MCE, as in, the co pilot letting you of the events of the PFD? In the youtube video, the co pilot did recognize the master caution so perhaps it will be possible in the future? Edited May 6, 20215 yr by hadi
May 7, 20215 yr The activation process is still a pain. Can you not move to an online DRM registration process ? why do I have to email ? https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

However, as things stand right now, Aerosoft A3X is the only plane that exposes PFD FMA infomation. The good news, when that plane eventually moves to MSFS, MCE would have it covered in Ultimate Edition via a free update. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

I'm always curious to read the speed restrictions, flap speeds, approach speeds etc.

I'm always curious to read the speed restrictions, flap speeds, approach speeds etc. Fo can insert anything you want in both CDU 1 & CDU2, for both Flybywire and Aerosoft CRJ As far as reading info from FMC, only things like Vspeeds, Trans alt and a few other bits are automatically fetched.. There isn't a single aircraft on all Microsoft based sims that gives access to the content of CDU line text. That means no way of finding out whether there is a discontinuity line in there, or which flight plan is shown at a particular line. I guess you could get away with it as follows. Prepare your flight plan using external tools, then make sure the flight plan you intend to use is the only one present in the location CDU expects them to be. Then have a custom flow like "please load current flight plan", and have the FO perform the necessary steps to get it loaded, with the assumption, when he selects LSK1 or RSK1, (just an example) the most recent flight plan would show up right there. Not really, for the following reasons. MCE is available as a "Try before you buy", therefore not holding out customer for the key and causing frustration following purchase, as the user would already have had 3 days to play with it. Waiting for up to 16 hours sin't going to harm anyone. Some users want top performance for their sim and prefer not to have it hooked to the Internet. The method we use is flexible, you get a unique activation file, then you can save it to external backup, format C drive as many times as you like, install ANY Windows version and get your copy activated, without the need to get in touch, by simply dropping the file you saved into \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder. Obviously, this method only works when sales are in single or double digits at best as it's the case for the vast majority of add-ons, ignoring big release days for some very successful planes, like PMDG 737 and FSL A3X. We are no Microsoft or Adobe who need to activate tens of thousands of copies a day. These don't have a choice but to go online. And guess what happens... There aren't really smart people out there keen to work very hard undoing very complex Microsoft or big tech companies protections. Aside from an "inside job", all it takes is some indelicate Network administrator who has access to the server hosting your site, to help himself to the KeyGenerator tool and you're done. Current system has worked very well for the last decade and we intend to carry on using it for the next. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
