RXP GNS530 - Unable to exit windowed mode

Recommended Posts

I'm running X-Plane 11 with RXP GNS530. RealSimGear GNS530 display is stuck in windowed mode. How do I exit windowed mode for full screen (Alt-Enter does not work)? Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not sure what could be the problem, whether something preventing it or just it is not supposed to when using popped out windows on a 2nd monitor.

Have you tried changing the XP11 display mode in the XP11 settings GUI to full screen?

The sim itself runs in full screen mode on my 3 monitors just fine. In the XP11 GUI, the screen for the GNS530 must be set to "Unused". The RXP GNS 530 works just fine. I just can't exit windowed mode, so I don't get the full screen. XP11's inbuilt GSN530 goes to full screen mode without a problem. I prefer RXP to XP11's inbuilt version because it's features/functions are identical to the real thing. Not sure what else to try.

One thing I did not mention, because I did not consider it relevant. I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1050ti/GTX660 combo (running the RXP GNS 530 on the 660) to an RTX 3090. My GNS530 is the 4th monitor on the 3090.
