Whenever that displays for me, which can be anywhere from ever 30 seconds to every few seconds, I get a microstutter. I turns out it almost completely disappears if you turn Dev Mode on, then off again. I thought for awhile it was necessary to clear the log (accessible thru Dev Mode > Windows > Console > then hit the clear all button after which all errors/warnings/messages disappear). With my most recent test I think all that's necessary may be to simply turn Dev Mode on then off again and this eliminates the whirling dervish w/ it's associated microstutter. They're subtle but absolutely there. I'm going to try one more test now with something that may be completely unrelated to losing logging of flights and I will post here if by magic it solves the issue. As I think back this was a change I made about the time I lost logging of my flights. ADDENDUM, well that didn't work either! The real mystery is why the heck did I get one flight recorded the other day? Next test flight will be short and w/o going into Dev Mode and see if that is indeed involved. May 21, 20215 yr Author Had success again-flight correctly logged. This time I booted fresh, started MSFS, cleared the console log entries prior to creating a flight plan, but after selecting a plane. Had a few displays of the spinner but very infrequently. Try again and see if that is correct.
