Next Simmarket update to include patched CRJ

Recommended Posts

Hey guys as in Aerosoft CRJ forums moderator stated, CRJ Patch was already sent to Microsoft and will be added to sim upon their approval.

I personally stopped flying CRJ cause of it's bugs and just cant wait to get back to it once it's out. Do you guys have any idea how long this process might take?

Can we get it via the AS updater app?

As far as I understood the update in the AS updater for non marketplace purchases will come same time with the marketplace update cause of contractual stuff. Both scheduled hopefully for Friday for the regular marketplace update.

And what bugs atm do prevent using the CRJ? Just curious?

We did a group online flight yesterday after update and both me and another VA pilot did not had any problems with the CRJ. I was even changing some controller settings in flight. Perhaps reinstall a good idea. But msfs is a mystery cause not two setups behave the same... So who knows... 😉

Biggest thing that's been keeping me from using it is the throttle issues where apparently their throttle code was fighting MS's throttle code.  Small adjustments to the throttle would result in 15-30% drops then it would slowly creep back up.  Every single throttle adjustment in cruise.  It got even worse when I went from a single throttle axis to a Honeycomb Bravo.  At that point both engines would start doing that behavior but independently.  It would cause the plane to yaw all over in addition to causing massive issues trying to nail approach speeds on final.  It's supposed to be permanently fixed in this upcoming patch (the simconnect throttle axis notes above) so hopefully I can pull it back out of the hangar after this update.

Where'd this come from? CRJs for MSFS is the 550/700. Unless I'm really out of that (Aerosoft) loop and they're adding some new models.

What's the date on that product preview you're quoting?

Thanks for the heads up. It's been a while since I've visited their forums. Doubt I will buy the 900/1000 though, whatever the price.
