Can't find screenshots

Recommended Posts

I had to move MSFS to the D drive after my C drive ran out of space.  Now it's not saving screenshots in the normal folder.  I've looked on the C and D drive and can't find the saved pics.  Does anyone know where screenshots are saved if you move the sim to another drive than the C drive?

Might be under Pictures/screenshots.

No that's where I first looked and the folder is empty.

What key are you using to save the screenshots? Or are you using like that Shadow Play thingy from Nvidia? Or some other program?

I'm using the windows key + print screen key the screen goes darker for a second so I think it's saving the screenshot somewhere

Here is an article about screen shots in Windows 10. Too lazy to read it 🙂

The default screenshot format is PNG, so search for *.PNG in Windows Explorer (remember the asterisk and fullstop (or 'period' since you're in the US of A😉). That way you'll find which folders contain PNG images. You could also search for screenshot to see if Windows has created a new folder elsewhere.
