May 31, 20215 yr That wall, or whatever it is on the approach end of 10L was not there in the late 70's. It was just a chain link fence, and I used to ride my bike right up to it, and watch the airliners land and take off about 300 feet away. They had a blast fence between the runway and the road, but I got sand in my bike chain once from the jet blast of a DC10. One day Pan Am flew a 747 there, to see if they could establish 747 service. The 747 was empty of fuel, took off and landed at KMIA, and fueled up, but they only did that once and dropped the idea.   Â

It uses the default slope system and terrain system of MSFS. We basically had to do it from scratch with the MSFS methods. We did not re-use the old P3d methods for the same reason. 14 minutes ago, Wise87 said: I wonder if it will have performance hits and conflict with the Miami like it does in P3D. None whatsoever, thankfully the way the LOD system works on MSFS, you won't be able to load KMIA from KFLL and viceversa.
