Scenery Manager?

Recommended Posts

Can someone recommend a good scenery Manager. Freeware or pay ware. Open to any suggestions as long as they work efficiently.

Scenery Config Editor on Source Forge.

That looks like a very capable freeware scenery manager. I have used Aerosoft SIMstarterNG for years for this purpose and wouldn’t be without it but sadly it is no longer available for FSX. This freeware utility however looks as if it would be a very good substitute for the scenery configuration element of Simstarter.

Indeed, the Scenery Config Editor has been a very useful tool since February 2011.

I too use Simstarter NG, but also use SceneryConfigEd for quick adds, moving scenery order, etc.

During beta it was the goal to maintain complete compatibility with SCE, since Capt. Pero was also a fan.

Oh that sounds like a good idea so I might try that combination - thanks!
