Hi

After thinking, seeing reviews and prices going up or down, I think I will go to a curved monitor, probably the Allienware AW3420DW. Well, I do not have so much options for a G-Sync monitor.

But I saw that it only supports DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4, and for getting 3440x1440 I would need to connect it via HDMI port.

1. Is this a good one?

2. What would be the VRR with DP or HDMI in order to get the full profit of it which means a resolution of 3440x1440?

3. Can I see TV on this monitor as well?

1. Yes

2. It supports Gsync natively but only over display port. No need to use HDMI ever with this monitor as DP will give you the best results. The VRR range is 1-120.

3. No idea - maybe would depend on what your TV connection point is at the moment
