? re: P3Dv5.2 with ASP3d - most accurate geographic weather?

Recommended Posts

Posted this at hifi also, awaiting response.

Any input on how to get the most accurate geographically accurate weather in v5.2?  I'm trying to test this at the moment, but a lot of these changes require restarts and its slow.  Any input appreciated.  I think currently, geographically accurate weather seems to be supported with EA on or off, with Volumetric clouds set to off.  Any thoughts?

Here's my post to Hifi:

Hi all,
Just looking for some clarification on what settings are required to get regional weather set up best. I want to be able to see weather coming as I fly into it, not have one global weather set in the sim. With the recent changes in EA, volumetric and non-volumetric clouds, what is the best way to achieve that in v5.2? I'm assuming non-volumetric clouds with or without EA will allow regional weather depiction? Or is EA still not capable of that?

Many thanks in advance!
