Sunday is Father's Day and yesterday I got this card from my youngest daughter.

YESTERDAY - - - TODAY

Money don't grow on trees! - - - Here's 300 dollars sweetheart.  Go buy yourself those shoes that match your hair color.

My house, my rules! - - - Let's take a vote at our next family meeting.

Who do you think you're talking to? - - -  Slow down sweetheart.  Take a breathe.  Push the reset button.

Stay out of grown folk's business! - - - There are no closed doors in this household.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

I've got 2 daughters so I know all about diplomacy.

Our Fathers  Day is not until September though, we have ours in Spring when we take our barbeques back out again for summer
