Sporty's Pilot Shop airport in FS2020 (I69)

This one was a surprise for me.  Not sure if everyone knows about this and I'm just late:

Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

A must add!  I69 runs deep into my history.  Rode into there in the late 1980's in a 182 and was totally fascinated with the Sporty's business (at the time). I have patronized Sporty's ever since.  Charts, printed flight planning pads, have-to-go-now word not allowed bags (which I twice had to use during long highway backups), my 2nd E6B wheel, my first electronic E6B calculator, my static stick-to-the-shield sun shields, my ride sickness sick bags, my new but aged leather bomber jacket, countless flight and flight training videos, and my favorite flight audio tape of a Richard Collins flight from I69 to KORD and back in a Piper Aztec, "702 Sierra Papa".

Dillon,

Thanks for posting! The stock airport is terrible so this is a really welcome addon. Currently flying out of KTOL or 7W5 and like to fly down that way so I'll get into I69 often in the sim.

He (Richard Collins) was a inspiration to many a fledgling pilot thru the years . I see he passed away back in 2018 : https://www.flyingmag.com/former-flying-editor-in-chief-richard-collins-dies/

Very nicely done up airport.

So beyond the discussion on Collins, please keep in mind that Sporty's is all about its founder Hal Shevers, and his vision that has established Sporty's for what Sporty's is!  Here is a screen shot of one view of this addon airport.  Sporty's does not look that large in this first image.  The second image (below) shows how deep the Sporty's facility actually is.

I also did a range of shots at the screenshot forum (and included a link again so on one misses this amazing rendition)

I went to download and it wants my personal info. LOL

Very shrewd Sporty's. No thanks!

I ordered from them so much over the years it didn't matter, they already had my information.  Sporty's is one of the main suppliers of real world aviation merchandise.  You'd be hard pressed to find a real world pilot in the US without a Sporty's account.

Sporty's is probably far more trustworthy than our Flightsim vendors....well at least more than Simmarket.

I have been registered at Sporty's for over 15 years and have never received unsolicited email.  Not once!  I believe all they intend is to make it easy for you to sign in again in the future should you wish to order.  Look through the web site.  They have tons of items to support your simulation and aviation wants and needs.  Hal Shevers runs a class organization, which is why so many aviation luminaries have associated with Sporty's.

Just enter any initials (one letter for first & last names is enough) and address you like. Make one up (I used Beverly Hills 90210😁) and enter a string of zeros for phone and anything random for email (e.g. 66%%%%$&&@hotmail.com) - none of it's required to be genuine for your download to work.
