Spent 30 minutes last night just getting to the point where all 4 engines were running, checking gauges throughout to ensure each was healthy. And after each fired up i took in the amazing sounds, look of the propeller, etc. Various parts of the cockpit are shaking, gauges are twitching. This thing is a time machine. It really sucks you in. Well done PMDG! You hit the nail on the head! It's truly an immersive experience and I find myself daydreaming about the next opportunity to fire those big 'ol radials up... We REALLY need exhaust smoke in this sim! I've never been an "airliner guy" in all my 38 years of simming experience, but I've been debating on what my RTW airplane will be, been flying the KA350 on the first few hops while waiting on the MilVis C310 but now this changes things. After I add it to the airplane database on NeoFly and then build up the funds to buy one (my hired pilots are gonna be real busy!) I'm buying the cargo version and then flying whatever paid jobs align with my general RTW route. And there are gonna be so many liveries for this old gal, it will be cool to use a matching livery for the different regions. By the time I'm in another hemisphere maybe I won't need the VFE any longer but I sure appreciate his presence! "That's what" - She

June 21, 20214 yr For those having the reverse taxi issues, was the pavement wet or was it raining? I ran into serious aircraft performance issues yesterday trying to do a flight out of KDSM stand 16 with live weather and wet and raining conditions. I couldn't back out of the stand, and using full "wet" power, I was unable to get airborne into a strong wind with 9000' of runway. I changed the weather to a "clear skies" preset and tried the same flight again with no issues. Edited June 21, 20214 yr by boddman

June 21, 20214 yr Yes flaps 20 confirmed as I double-checked that even after using the AFE for pre-takeoff checks and for Wet Takeoff configuration checklist and power settings. I had 3 attempts at takeoff but had extremely slow acceleration and was barely over 90 knots after 9000'. After that is when I changed the weather preset to see if weather was some kind of factor. After changing the weather, It accelerated much better and was able to take off only using about half the runway. Real world wind in KDSM around the time was out of the SW 13 knots gusting 22. In game I remember the windsock was maxed out and pointing right down the runway I was taking off from.

June 21, 20214 yr I was just watching Tutorial #3 and they show a "mouse interaction" feature to toggle between the MSFS mouse style or the PMDG mouse style. However, I don't see this as a feature in my tablet. Was this feature removed before the plane was released? It is mentioned on page 24 of the manual I believe. Double click the executable to set your mouse preference. It is clearly outlined in the manual. I just tried running this application and I keep getting an error message "Windows cannot access the specified path, etc.." Not sure what the issue is here but any help would be appreciated. Edit: This works now. My computer was flagging this as a virus threat, so I had to allow its usage and now the application works.
