Entering Longitude and Latitude

Recommended Posts

Trying to figure out how to enter N041.497936  W073.077112 as a waypoint  into the World Title CJ4 FMS. Haven't figured out the correct format yet. Can anyone help me please? And is that also possible with the GPS in a Cessna 182? Thanks Walt (As always you guys are great/>)

I just spent an hour trying to figure this out as I wanted to know how to do it too...

Then I remembered it doesn't work in the WT CJ4 FPLN. You have to put it in the LEGS or as a custom waypoint in the database page.  So have a go there if you haven't.

The WT docs say:

Format: N/SDDMM.MMW/EDDDMM.MM/NAME
Example: N4412.55W00405.25
Example: N44W00405

Not sure when you say "Database page" Where is that and thank you for your response.

I had to reinstall the WT CJ4 and now I am having all sorts of problems.

MENU ADV and DATA knobs not working.

Navigraph Charts is "Linked" but unable to get charts

Engines not running if I start on a runway (And they should be)

I reinstalled it twice and still the same.  WT CJ4 v 0.12.1

12.5 is the latest.

Check the doc (PILOT WAYPOINTS section) I often have it open for reference as I'm learning it.  I've not tried custom waypoints in the db much but it does work. Usually I'd just enter the lat/long but it is fussy.

Also watch out for other cj4 mods/liveries as some aren't compatible with the working title one. I used MSFS addon linker and disable every cj4 related until it was working before adding anything else.
