So the FPS for Windows 10 vs Windows 11 is more or less the same, for this specific test of MSFS.  This is what I mostly expected.

Alignment is middle and left hand side traditional position - its in settings I tried it - center is way to go especially on large monitors

I think he mean tthe entire taskbar which can be move to either side and also the top in previous windows version

I have an i7 6700. The i7 6700 is not listed among the officially supported CPUs. Something else I read -- which I did not know until today -- is that the first number following the processor name (in our case "6") indicates the processor generation, and that Windows 11 will only be supporting 7th generation and beyond processors (supposedly, allegedly, maybe). However, I'm a bit skeptical about a lot of these numbers I've been reading about. I mean, my computer can run MSFS in 4K at 30FPS on High settings. Is my machine really too inferior to run Windows 11? On the other hand, perhaps this rejection of my computer is a blessing in disguise. Yes, I like to have the task bar positioned vertically, along the left hand edge of my monitor, and not horizontally along the bottom edge of my monitor.

With a wide screen it's better to "waste" space on the left hand edge of the screen rather than the bottom... IMO.

Hi,

I installed Windows 11 (insider preview) last Wednesday evening.

The OS seems to be stable.
 

So far everything is going well with Flight Simulator. I've got the same fps (or, at least, I think so).

You don't have to "waste space" anywhere as there is an option to just "hide" the Taskbar when it is not in use.

Looks like it was made for a tablet more than a desktop much like the Windows 8 fiasco. I think I'll be happy staying with 10.
