Since you could effectively distribute something like that easily enough, I daresay they'll have something in place to register things and prevent that from being possible. How that works for stuff bought from a TPD I wouldn't know, since my products bought from TPDs which have subsequently been added to the in game market are not listed as being 'owned' by me in the sim, even though of course they are, unless they have their own protections as well, but obviously it's something developers need to be ready to combat.

They do offer refunds, went through this once successfully for an airport DLC, important is to demand a refund within the refund period, the sooner the better. only difficulty is to tell your purchases apart since you only see the credits you bought but not the actual product

All policies can have exceptions and I guess it's not difficult to agree to one in this case in the spirit of good customer relations.

In France and I'd say in most of the Western world, selling a defective, non functioning product calls for a refund or replacement by the entity which sold it. In this case Microsoft. It is not good will, it is the law. 

Given how easy it is to drop aircraft onto the MSFS Marketplace, I'm about to release my 1st aircraft for MSFS!

Priced at the industry-standard $29.99, it should sell great!

Same in the UK, we explictly extended out Consumer Goods laws to cover digital purchases a few years back but it wouldn't surprise me if this wasnt universally the case in the US.

Don't temp the internet... or do.  Some Crypto/NFT or YouTube dork will buy it just to make a video about it. I think you should do it man, it would be hilarious.  But please for the love of god fix those textures.  Also, not enough HDR, lens flare, ambient occlusion, and PBR materials.  Also, make sure the people know that this is NOT a Captain Scam, VirtualCrock, or Krapdokk3D, product.

I'm one of the few honest devs who will admit this is a straight port from FSX, I'm not rebaking the texture maps or anything like that for this release....it this one sells well...I'll consider launching my next airplane:

I tried a float version....for some reason it just sinks like a brick!

And for total accuracy, United only flew them in the Friendship livery....Never in the abomination they now paint their planes with!!
