Couldn't you just copy and paste the folder it installs from "Community" to your desktop. Get a refund and then paste the plane back in and you still actually have the plane. Because if you can do that, then that does mean a lot of people could abuse the refund system. They would have to look at adding something in to prevent abuse. Since you could effectively distribute something like that easily enough, I daresay they'll have something in place to register things and prevent that from being possible. How that works for stuff bought from a TPD I wouldn't know, since my products bought from TPDs which have subsequently been added to the in game market are not listed as being 'owned' by me in the sim, even though of course they are, unless they have their own protections as well, but obviously it's something developers need to be ready to combat. This should never have got to the Market Place, but fair play to MS for a quick refund. 8 hours ago, marsman2020 said: Jorg stated several QAs ago that they have no intention to police the quality of Marketplace content. MSFS forum mods asked about refunds several months back referred to language on an XBox Marketplace page that says, "no refunds". ??????? July 2, 20214 yr They do offer refunds, went through this once successfully for an airport DLC, important is to demand a refund within the refund period, the sooner the better. only difficulty is to tell your purchases apart since you only see the credits you bought but not the actual product https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/buy-games-apps/refund-orders Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

July 2, 20214 yr In France and I'd say in most of the Western world, selling a defective, non functioning product calls for a refund or replacement by the entity which sold it. In this case Microsoft. It is not good will, it is the law. July 2, 20214 yr Given how easy it is to drop aircraft onto the MSFS Marketplace, I'm about to release my 1st aircraft for MSFS! Priced at the industry-standard $29.99, it should sell great! Please, no support questions or requests for refunds, my company doesn't do that. 🙂 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Same in the UK, we explictly extended out Consumer Goods laws to cover digital purchases a few years back but it wouldn't surprise me if this wasnt universally the case in the US.

Some Crypto/NFT or YouTube dork will buy it just to make a video about it. I think you should do it man, it would be hilarious. But please for the love of god fix those textures. Also, not enough HDR, lens flare, ambient occlusion, and PBR materials. Also, make sure the people know that this is NOT a Captain Scam, VirtualCrock, or Krapdokk3D, product.

I'm one of the few honest devs who will admit this is a straight port from FSX, I'm not rebaking the texture maps or anything like that for this release....it this one sells well...I'll consider launching my next airplane: 2 hours ago, wim123 said: if you add floats , i buy it hahahahahaha I tried a float version....for some reason it just sinks like a brick! Disclaimer: Any similarity, real or imagined, of my products to actual building materials, is purely coincidental. No bricks or cinder blocks were harmed in the making of my aircraft. Everyone know Lufthansa never flew the C-INDR-BLK...and there you are trying to imply that I'd actually release my study-level aircraft with fictional liveries! And for total accuracy, United only flew them in the Friendship livery....Never in the abomination they now paint their planes with!! If you're going to mock my efforts...at least get my livery selections right! Sheez.
