July 10, 20214 yr As a contrast to https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/603079-whats-the-most-beautifully-detailed-city-in-msfs/, what part of the world you want to fly in has the absolute worst graphics and/or autogen scenery? For me, it's the Maldives. As soon as Aerosoft releases the Twin Otter, I will float my way around the Maldives, but I wish the graphics were much much better. Edited July 10, 20214 yr by Mojave
July 10, 20214 yr I would have to say Southeast Asia. This area needs a proper world update badly. ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU
July 10, 20214 yr Absolutely. I would kill for a WU just focusing on Thailand. Most of China also needs a brush up. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
July 10, 20214 yr Same, especially Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines as well. July 10, 20214 yr Thailand is lacking unfortunately. And the rest of SE Asia. / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot
July 10, 20214 yr SE Asia I have to say. Living in Udon Thani (Thailand) for exemple - Autogen is horrible. Take a look at the airport. Sourrounded by buildings with 6 or 7 floors where are IRL 2 story buildings. And most of these autogenerated building are in a not appropriate style. But to be fair - due to restrictions in Thailand, access to data is very limited. Edited July 10, 20214 yr by stratone addition in comment
July 10, 20214 yr Alaska is not very good indeed and a disappointment. About the excessive multi-storey buildings autogen in Thailand, this is the case for most of the world. Blackshark.ai places them in far too large quantities everywhere. It is sometimes ludicrous to see them deep in the boonies. The AI does a lot to make the imagery alive but clearly needs more tuning. I wonder whether they still work on the project. The Alps are not so very good either in most of the places : imagery and mesh. Like there being far too many storage buildings where available map data would easily indicate that it's a shopping center or a hospital. Missing churches, antennas on mountain tops (instead of skyscrapers). And rooftops - which according to the feature discovery series - are a main aspect of the AI should orient themselves more on the actual imagery. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
July 10, 20214 yr Arizona. The place is full of the wrong trees and odd towers where their should be cacti. It's a mess.
July 10, 20214 yr I recently flew around the Indonesian part of Papua along the Sudirman mountain range and the New Guinea Highlands. The scenery itself isn't too bad actually, the problem is all those terrain spikes you still see there. Pretty much kills the immersion..It's much worse than in the Philippines for example. Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
