Fenix A320, high fidelity airliner, is being released

If there are 4 real time Airbus Pilots flying and testing this aircraft, do you think that they might be able to judge if it is a good flight model or not?

Well, there were many FS2002, 2004, FSX and P3D add-ons ‘tested by real world pilots which you seem to discount now. Evidently real world pilots testing add-ons in previous sims weren’t to be taken seriously. All of a sudden, now they’re a good judge.

The lesson? You can’t win sometimes.

My skepticism is dropping for this project but of course trusted reviews will tell the tale. But i like what i am hearing and seeing so far. Good luck to the team.

I'm glad you see it that way - but the plan for us is to release this airplane for review to media sites and reviewers before our full launch, to ensure consumers have the opportunity to go in with their eyes wide open and as much confidence as possible. We appreciate we're new (as a company) to this scene and we have a lot of bridges to build with you all before we earn some trust - so we will do just that.

I would be more than happy to pay full price for the A320, and get an early copy to post a full flight or two on youtube, on release day.

Hoping that they pay attention to realistic sounds and   for some sound demos and videos as well when they're ready. It's possible that they haven't got to it yet since They said nothing about it yet anywhere on their website and first stream

As an aside, I hope that I am not breaching any of Avsim's rules by engaging with you all here - I do not want to come off as advertising our product on these forums. If a moderator could clarify, I will rest easy!

Hope you apply to be a commercial developer on Avsim.

I am not type rated on the A320, so I will reserve my comments for the moment and allow the real type rated guys to speak their minds when the time comes 🙂

OK, I was more looking for a technical point of view. Like if the model is external or MSFS native and how satisfied you / the devs are with it.

I do understand however if that is too early to answer.

Happy with MSFS 🙂

Agree that the sounds on the FSL version create immersion unlike any other sound pack IMHO.  If Fenix can reach or exceed that level of immersion it would be fantastic.

@Aamir please seriously consider a proper forum. Discord is a pain and not liked by quite a few including myself.

Discord is a train wreck imo. Terrible UI.

There is too much juvenile behavior over there with the back and forth. I have seen no FS forum worse than discord, maybe reddit which I chose to ignore.

I don't think would be wise to add more costs right now, creating and keeping their own forum. Also, they seem to be a very small team, would they handle moderating their forum and developing their add-on at the same time? It's a good idea, but I think they should have their product out on the market first. Not even Microsoft opened their own forums before release.

Explain to all of use what this difference makes to you?

BlackBox711 is a real life certified A320 pilot that streams on Twitch. He is one of the real life A320 pilots that is alpha testing the Fenix A320.  Here is BlackBox711's impressions of the Fenix A320 in its alpha testing stage:

Hi there

Just curious to know if you have heard the sounds in the fbw a32nx. It certainly exceeds the levels of the sounds in fsl; the new sound engine in fs2020 contributes to it as well for sure, so will wait and find out how Fenix does it!

I have and they are excellent, but something about the flight deck sounds on the FSL Airbus seem just a bit more “alive”.  I might also be influenced by liking the sounds of the CEO much more than the NEO (in real life, not referring to sim depictions).
