Are you worried this new A320 will make your product less relevant ? I mean I know yours is free but anyway, simmers tend to not have problem spending money.

What a world...

One is modeling CEO and the other one is modeling NEO. There are different characters in laws from these variants, it could be that is one of them and thus, we can't compare these two always as these two model different engines types, different models and different generations.

It seems to be the same logic on the NEO and the CEO, you can check on the FCOM

Ah then apologize for that :). As Asmir just replied, classical operator error 😉

To be fair, it's perfect human behavior. It takes a bit of effort to jump from A or B to A and B, and some people work on that slower than others.

Personally I think the FBW and FENIX will compliment each other in a sort of "keeping up with the Joneses" mentality. I'm willing to bet we'll see a working printer on the FENIX, and we just got pixelated LCD's on the FBW.

It's all good, even if simmers like cepact don't realize it yet.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

the Airbus does not actually bring itself to idle thrust. You need to pull the levers.

In normal landing yes, but also during autoland?

I just heard of it one hour ago, I will keep looking

Not a pilot, just management - checked with the dev team to make sure, indeed, the airplane will command THR IDLE (this is represented in the FENIX) - however I close the levers early before THR IDLE is commanded.

It’s why the aircraft calls “Retard” in normal lands.

Does it do the same in Autoland?

Well hey, I guess we are all brought up and raised with different manners. It sounded rather entitled and rude to me. Anyway, let's move on.

Thanks for the info 😉

I just finished watching a A321 autoland with THR IDLE and FLARE, but they were lower than you

Hey Aamir!   Thanks for dropping by.  It is a great project you have started.  I wish you every success with it.  I know I will be keeping a close eye on it, and probably hundreds, if not thousands of others.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I second Bobcat! Those like Aamir and the team, who decide to model things 0.02% of users will experience, imbue the kind of passion that makes this hobby great.

How do I get in touch with the dev team? I would like to suggest some ideas for sound

Who is this for? The folks who want an "hardcore" Airbus simulation in MSFS are probably going to wait for FSLabs to port their version over. Simmers happy with a midlevel plane are probably content with the FbW version.

Where exactly is this coming from? From the looks of it, this will be much more “hardcore” than the FSLabs A320.

let's not turn this into a FBW vs Fenix please

Well said. Besides the Fenix A320 will not be available on xbox so the FBW A32NX will be the default go-to A320 for the xbox folks.

Sorry to throw a fly into the ointment but stable FBW and Asobo Neo run solid at 30fps - tried new FBW Development version and getting low 20's

Going to have to pass on that version
