AI traffic braking too hard on runway

Featured Replies

There is the free AITTP program on AVSIM Library which modifies the taxi speed of the AI up to 40 kts but has not yet been upgraded to P3D 5.2 HF1 while this is the link for
AITTP 2021 v5.1 AI Taxispeed and Timeout Patcher for P3D v5.1 (Latest version v5.1.12.26829 HF1)

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been out of town most of the week.

So I noticed that the airplanes turning around on the runway was happening to my addon airports (i.e. LatinVFR KLAS), so to I opened up ADEX and excluded the whole airport. So far, this seems to solve that problem, since developers usually do a good job in maintaining a logical mapping for AI. I am currently tweaking and playing around with the AIGround and AIFlow utilities.

Once I get those things in order, the only final piece to the puzzle is finding a utility that can make AI follow SIDS and STARS, besides Vatsim 😉 And maybe even make these planes flare before touchdown! Some do and some don't, so I dunno what influences it haha

Thank you all,

Amrick

You probably know, that you can adjust the stopping distance in the individual aircraft cfg`s. ;  The lower the toe brakes scala, the longer the stopping distance

 [brakes]
parking_brake=1.00                                                                                                                     // Parking brake available
toe_brakes_scale=0.10                                                                                                                     // Brake scalar
