I have to say even after 30 years of flight simming the DC-6 really made me a better "pilot" No GPS. But more how I control the aircraft when hand flying so smoothly. In the DC-6 you can glide of the tarmac and kiss it on landing, It teachers you if you do it right many things.

But yes I wanted a change and the CRJ I had not used since one week of release. The version now is a LOT better. But unlike the habit of being very lazy that a Jetliner makes you. Now am thinking ahead as I should and find the CRJ enjoyable. Its also so much faster ...lol.

The FENIX and the PMDG NGu I will buy but history has shown me to stop there. With them two and the two above, that will be my fleat. I am also keeping my GA hanger down to a minmum. I wasted £100's if not £1,000 on aircraft I never used in P3D.

But the DC-6 is still the King in my hanger. 🙂 At least I enjoy all my Hanger now.

Not to have all what coming up in planes is the thing, but to get those that you like and fitting your mind about flying a plane - that is the best choice you can do.

I do the same, getting just the on´s that fitting for me is the way i am goeing..

In my old FSX times i had allmost every plane that came out and this wasen`t a good choice, now in this MSFS Decade i doeing it like you, not too mutch but good ons who will fit my mind.

cheers 😉

After spending a few thousand dollars on addons for FSX, P3D and XP in these 15 years of simulation I'm well aware of the amounts you should spend on this new simulator. I also have a similar plan, my idea is to buy only aircraft that I consider study level.

What I hope to buy in the coming years:

FENIX A320
PMDG 737 NG
Majestic Q400
Maddog MD-82
maybe a GA from A2A

I hope to be a lot more cautious before buying addon to leave it stopped in my hangar.
