FS Real Time

Dear members, 

 

I have purchased FS Real Time in the past from 2017, in my e-mails there's a serial key and my proof that I have paid for, when I want to register the "OK" button stays greyed out so I can't click "OK" to activate it ... 

I have now P3D v5.2, can someone help me?

Hi,

 

3D Softworks who developed that tool appears to be no more and as far as I know they never made it compatible with P3Dv5. This probably is the reason why you can not activate it again over the web.

Maybe someone on here managed to find a workaround for it otherwise the Flychrono tool will work and in case you have FSUIPC, that has a time sync feature as well although I believe you need the paid version of it installed.

Do we still really need this for P3Dv5? Neither FlyApps (Flychrono) nor Simelite (Time Zone Fixer) mentions P3Dv5 ...

I thought this is already fixed since v5 ...

I am still using it. With P3D I am unable to set up to my liking and accuracy....

I thought this is already fixed since v5 ...

TimeZoneFixer is a different kind of utility--it replaces the UTC-to-local offset map so that local time and UTC time are correctly offset from one another.  The others exert some control on the current time in the simulator, as the clock in the ESP-based sims (FSX/P3D) advances at a rate that deviates slightly from real time.  AFAIK, TimeZoneFixer still works, as the time zone mapping is still done the same way in P3Dv5.

Its been a while I haven't seen any updates on FS Real Time. 

Hopefully this can be a decent replacement.

My FS RealTime has stopped working last week. I get an error 9 on start up. I have moved over to Fly Chrono.

That's strange because after reading this thread my FS Realtime install is functioning as it always has. Initiated a flight in V5.2 to check and it is showing correct UTC and local DST offset with no startup issue. I recently did a complete, clean install of P3D V5.2 with latest HF and all other addon's, sim connect etc. The developer may or may not be around but it still functions in the latest V5.2.

Strange. After 2 days mine is working again. Nothing has changed on my end as my computer has been off.

I'm getting the error 9  subscript out of range, too.  Did that for a few days, then worked again, but now getting the error again. Using FS Real Time for FS9 and FSX-SE only.   FS Time Sync for P3D. Anyone know a fix for the error, and why it started popping up all of a sudden?

Same here. Not sure if it's tied to an old server or not. Either way I am now using Fly Chrono.
