Aerosoft is releasing Simple Traffic addon for AI Traffic

There’s a couple of things I would like to see.

more control over what you see, so no military jets (if you own them)  at International airports for example.

also a FPS friendly version of third party planes which MSFS can use as AI , either static or dynamic - can’t see this happening though.

Aerosoft´s forum

https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/165562-what-airports-are-covered/

There are 20 airports covered in Spain, which is not bad, but other regions are not so well represented. In a nutshell, don´t expect to see traffic everywhere.

Woohoo! KPHL isn't forgotten about for once! Noice!

ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD /  2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors

I’m surprised CYHZ is one of the covered airports. Halifax is usually forgotten by people.

There’s only a few large parking spots big enough for the generic airliners there in the base sim scenery though, so you won’t be seeing a lot of planes parked.

AIG apparently found a way to work around the offline livery bug months ago, but haven't shared how to do it with the community.

Simple reason: Cause this required currently a new version of our AIG Traffic Controller that is currently still under development for MSFS. Installing the AIGFP files is only possible with AIM that is as well currently still WIP. As much as I would like to provide this workaround to the community it is currently just not possible, I have hopes that the net update will fix this offline AI bug.

Had the same pleasant surprise.  Any idea if the FSimStudios version added more appropriately sized parking?  I haven’t gotten into mucking around with parking files in MSFS yet.

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

The price is really good so I might just pick this up. BUT I would rather have had some new low poly planes and not the Boeing-Airbus hybrid GTAV knock default AI aircraft.

Hoping to Kai, waiting for the AIG version, in the meantime I have it already working partially with the freeware alternatives 😉

I was excited to see a traffic program, but this is disappointing. Southwest and Ryanair A337s? UPS A380s. How is this anymore realistic then what we already have?  Developers, Take some time to make a complete product. I'm surprised Aerosoft would stoop to this level.

That doesn't excuse anything.

AIG has all this with proper models for free on P3D, and is currently working on it for MSFS.

well for now Aerosoft can delay the release of it, MSFS has a know bug caused by AI resulting in a CTD

******* its 10€ and if you dont like then dont buy it. Its a temporary solution until something better comes up. Right now the airports are a mess so this is very welcoming
